Facility Overview

The O’Gara Training Facility – Montross  is a world-class 360 acre “full service” tactical training facility in Montross, VA.  This facility is located just 80 road miles south of the Pentagon and is within two hours of four major international airports, making it the closest facility to the D.C. metropolitan area.  This facility provides a 1.6 mile variable configuration Department of State approved paved road course, multiple off road courses, 1.8 mile off-road course, off-road obstacle area, 300′ x 300′ skid pad, two 120′ wide firing ranges, 25,000 sq. ft. indoor Simunition^® area, over 4,000 sq. ft. urban village with track access, defensive tactics training area, and a campus area with multiple classrooms.  We also offer several multi-caliber shooting ranges.  We are fully equipped with the latest equipment needed to maximize your training experience.  We offer cost effective and convenient comprehensive training solutions to our customers by providing the closest full service facility in the National Capital Region (NCR).
