Crisis Management

In today’s world, workplace violence is steadily on the rise. In the O’Gara Crisis Management program, we focus on preparing all levels of the corporate structure on proper procedures for preparation, reaction, and recovery from crises in the workplace.

Driving (Accident Avoidance)

The O’Gara Accident Avoidance course provides drivers with an opportunity to learn how to maneuver when encountering highway emergencies. More advanced than defensive driving, this course teaches proper techniques for encountering anomalies on the road, and enhances driver safety in all types of conditions.

Environmental Security Awareness

O’Gara Training’s Environmental Security Awareness course provides both practical and classroom instruction on all aspects involved with traveling abroad for most types of Non-Governmental Organization work.

Foreign Affairs Counter Threat (FACT)

The Foreign Affairs Counter Threat, based off of the DoS course by the same name, course provides students of all ages with general security awareness to prepare them for living and working while overseas.

Our Defensive and Evasive driving course (based off of our experience working on the Worldwide Protective Services contract) is designed to educate students on evasive driving concepts, skid control, and accident avoidance.

Explosives Training

O'Gara has a unique methodology and curriculum that employs proven advanced techniques to greatly enhance a Bomb Squad's Improvised Explosive Device disablement ability.

Maritime Operations

The O’Gara Training Facility in Montross, VA has the unique advantage of access to deep water training location just 3 miles away from our main facility. There, we have the ability to train divers, as well as an offshore structure that enables us to a variety of maritime operations, such as response to terroristic threats or pirate threats.

Special Tactics Training

We provide introductory to advanced levels of training covering the full spectrum of tactical training. O’Gara works closely with the client to design training programs or courses that meet the client’s specific requirements.

Tactical Mobility

Tactical mobility is a fundamental requirement to successfully operate in any battle space. Comprehensive training is paramount to overall mission success and must be conducted prior to deploying in hostile environments. O’Gara’s subject matter experts deliver training that range from basic movement to advanced multi-platform delivery/recovery techniques.

Survivability

Active Shooter Response Training (ASRT)

The FBI’s Strategic National Risk Assessment identifies the possibility of terrorists using explosives and armed assault tactics on vulnerable targets as one of the greatest risks to Nation’s Security.

Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT)

NGOs often work in complex and dangerous environments. Organizations must prepare their workers to operate safely and react appropriately to incidents. Multi-day, in-residence programs with realistic exercises ensures that when an incident occurs, they’ll be ready.

Personal Safety and Security

Unfamiliar settings present higher risks for travelers. This course covers safety and security methods during international travel and work in low to medium risk environments. This interactive classroom program is available to organizations or through open enrollment.
